Warmachine 2-Player Battle Box Details:
STEP INTO A WORLD FORGED OF IRON AND TEMPERED BY WAR.
The mighty forces of the northern Khadoran Empire are bolstered by their ideals of strength and resilience in their clash with the devout and zealous crusaders of the Protectorate of Menoth. At the center of this titanic clash, the deadly Kommander Sorscha Kratikoff leads an elite strike force of powerful Khadoran warjacks and soldiers against the holy knights of the Protectorate of Menoth led by their champion High Exemplar Kreoss and his personal retinue of warjacks.
WARMACHINE is a fast-paced and aggressive 30 mm tabletop miniatures battle game set in the steam-powered fantasy world of the Iron Kingdoms. Take control of an elite soldier-sorcerer called a warcaster and his mighty warjacks–massive steam-powered combat automatons–as you battle to destroy the enemy warcaster.
CONTAINS EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR A TWO-PLAYER GAME.
Complete Prime MKII rules in a travel-sized booklet (86 pages), introductory guide, dice, ruler, and 17 plastic WARMACHINE models with corresponding stat cards.
We may be a 40k blog first and foremost, but almost all of our authors play and enjoy Warmachine and its companion game Hordes. If you've ever been interested in Warmachine, this is a great way to get into the game. You get loads of sweet models (all in plastic), a full set of rules, everything you need to get started in this super cool game.
So as someone who doesn't use facebook (yet...) what does getting "liked" do? Just curious as so many places advertise to do this now.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great raffle though!
It allows GS to talk to more people on THE FACEBOOK since they're following their feed basically.
DeleteNo worries tau4eva, we'll drag you kicking and screaming into the current decade... :)
DeleteNothing like free shit to get Adam on Facebook! :)
DeleteI've only played one demo game with my Retribution. The game is fun but really challenging (there's so much stuff to know about the other armies). I wouldn't mind starting a Khador army (the army seems to be a better beginner army).
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't really say they're a better beginner army, but you should still play them if you win. I don't really have a lot to back that statement up, but they're not very mobile, and it is easier now to damage our warjacks, I guess.
DeleteThough I really liked this link - pertains to WM as a second system. http://www.frontlinegaming.org/2012/06/28/why-being-a-single-system-gamer-is-a-bad-habit/
DeleteI should have made my sentence clearer. I've only played one WM game and that was with my Retribution. Retribution is a challenge to paint (at least for me) and doesn't seem to have as much stuff as the other factions (and not knowing anything about WM I assumed they are like 40k Tau). I haven't had the motivation to finish painting my Retribution (and actually play) with 6th edition around the corner.
DeleteChat with tau4eva - he is the local Retribution faction artist. It takes a deft hand to get multiple shades of white right! Also, ask him about the .05mm paint pens for fast graphics!
