Thanksgiving

I like to think of FC 40K as the antithesis to sites like Bell Of Lost Souls. However, every once in a while, I think they get something right.
One of the traditions they have at BoLS is their annual Thanksgiving open thread. In it, they encourage their readers to discuss the things they are thankful for. I thought we could do the same thing here. I'll start it off.
1. Many of the guys in our group welcomed additions to their own families this year. My daughter, born in February, is growing bigger and stronger every day, while my son, who turns six next week, has inspired me to start building the Ork army I've dreamed about for years. My lovely wife, Deanna, has always understood, and occasionally joined me in this time consuming hobby. I am most thankful for having a healthy and happy family at home.
2. When I started playing with the group of guys who would become Fresh Coast 40K, I knew we had something cool. However, It wasn't until after Foodhammer Mk1 that I realized what a truly special group we had. It is rare to find a group of gamers so dedicated to the hobby and not to the idea of winning. I am very grateful for the friendships and comradery we have developed these last few years. I can only believe that the best for FC 40K is yet to come!
3. Finally, I am thankful for Bombay Sapphire gin, for without it, dinner with my mother and in-laws at the same time would not be bearable.
Happy turkey day everyone!

3. I am thankful for a wonderful girlfriend.
4. I am also thankful for the members of Fresh Coast.
I am thankful to the ruinous powers, the dark gods who bestow their gifts upon me every day. I am thankful to my enemies who provide me with skulls and slaughter. I am thankful to our lords, who show us favor by ordering us to assault enemies far greater than us, so that we might truly know if we are favored by Chaos. And finally, I would like to thank our cult mascot, Harry the Heretic, who makes us all laugh.
