Steampunk Saturday: Dygmies

My latest painting project for the Trollbloods meant I got to paint up the surprisingly lethal unit of Pygmy Burrowers, a.k.a. Dygmies. These guys were fun to paint, with lots of character and cool little details.



These guys get to burrow underground, hence the periscope model which replaces the unit once they dig. With the right caster, dygmies can be surprisingly powerful with strong but very-short ranged guns. Dygmy shooting ability is poor, but a special rule lets them use their guns as melee attacks. This means they can benefit from any of the many buffs to melee ability that Trollbloods have to offer.
