This image accurately portrays how awesome 6th Edition is |
I managed to play Joe from 40k Fight Club and Cerberus. The first game was against Joe on the boarding action table. He was playing Fire Hawks and I was Mantis Warriors, so it was PERFECT. In the Badab War the Mantis Warriors actually boarded Fire Hawks ships and captured them. So awesome.
We also set up a display table for the guests to see. I put out my Tyranids vs Tau4Eva's Blood Angels. We got a TON of compliments on the board and all the miniatures. It looked great! We also hosted a painting competition with Phil taking home the first place prize with his sweet Chaos Lord.

Thanks to Mike and Gamer's Sanctuary for a fun filled day of 6th edition.

The Phoenix Lords will mysteriously ally with the forces of the Imperium when it suits their purpose...
DeleteNo pictures of the painting comp stuff? That's OK, I'm working on the whole unit and going to post the Lord and terminator retinue up on Ruinous Powers. No more three wraithlord lists please!
ReplyDeleteSorry =/
DeleteI forgive you, but only because you led off with RICHARD SHARPE.
Delete3 Wraithlords? Feed them to the Scarabs!
ReplyDeleteCan they hurt wraithlords? They're toughness 8.
DeleteThose pictures are very sharpe indeed; handsome mini's always make for a great game.
ReplyDeleteI love my LotD, but I think poor Muggins became a bit annoyed with them by the end of the game.
