Ohiohammer Second Founding Interview and The Last Cheese Standing - 'Ard Boyz Replacement Tourney!

The whole idea of 'Ard Boyz makes me think of Essex Boys, a movie that stars Sean Bean, my favorite actor. Here is Sean Bean in a different movie.
Ohiohammer: Second Founding, a newer 40k podcast, thought I was important enough to interview in their episode eight. Check it out here. Thanks to those guys for the interview and I hope to meet them soon. Hopefully we won't have to meet in Toledo, although I would like to see what we almost went to war over.

They are also going to be running an 'Ard Boyz replacement tourney called Last Cheese Standing August 4th and 5th at The Game Room in Toledo, OH. 'Ard Boyz was never really my thing but I may check this out next year (baby takes up a lot of my time right now). I know there are a lot of 'Ard Boyz players in Michigan so hopefully they'll trek just south of the border. You know why all the trees in Michigan point to south? Ohio sucks!

Seriously though, check them out. They have a great podcast going and I'm really digging their take on a hobby podcast. Thanks!

  1. Two words. Richard Sharpe.

Oh, and a hello to our wargaming friends in Ohio. At least your state isn't as boring as Kansas.

  2. The Sharpe series is perhaps my favorite 'series' of anything. I love those movies. Really got me into historical studies and wargaming in general. I've read most of the books, but still have a few to go!!
