Fantasy Friday: Ready for the Weekend

Prep for this weekend's tournament at Gamers Sanctuary is coming to an end. I've painted all I can paint in time for tomorrow morning; I've built all the movement trays necessary. I've gone through iteration after iteration of list (not necessarily to min / max, since I have some uncompetitive stuff... I feel the list is solid outside my Minotaurs).

Practice session with Tau4Eva. Gors held off a lot of dark elves! You can see the minotaurs lining up a flank charge on the right of the picture.

Here is the final list. The Beastlord, GBS, and BSB have stayed the same throughout. The Great Bray Shaman will cast Shadow magic, hopefully miasma'ing targets that need to die quickly in HTH.

The two level one shamans will cast Wyssan's Wildform on the big blocks / minotaurs to get them into combat and chop up targets.

The razorgors are there primarily for combo charges and deployments. The minotaurs really chopped up Adam's dark elves on Wednesday night. I hope they can perform well tomorrow.

I also finished painting my Great Bray Shaman and Battle Standard Bearer. The shaman model is actually for Malagor, the Dark Omen, but I don't really use special characters. I just thought his wings and overall look was really perfect for my Tzeentch Beastmen army.

The BSB is a gor with a flag pole. I believe the icon came from a chaos space marine pack. This dude is 100% important for the army as it allows my guys to re-roll their saves. At some point I may green-stuff some scaly hide onto him as he'll always have that Chaos gift.
